Dr Paweł Nowicki, attorney at law leading a public procurement law and european union law teams in Marek Wierzbowski & Partners has been appointed by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology – Ms. Jadwiga Emilewicz to the Council of Public Procurement.
The Council of Public Procurement is an advisory body of the President of The Polish Public Procurement Office. The key duties of the Council are: giving opinions about projects of legal acts and annual reports of the President of the Polish Public Procurement Office regarding Polish public procurement system and establishing professional ethics standards. Currently the Council consists of 15 members – experts in the area of public procurement.
Dr Paweł Nowicki is one the most recognized experts in the area of public procurement law in Poland and abroad. He delivered number of lectures on European Union public procurement law, among other places, in Milan and Rome. He is also a co-author of the new Public Procurement Act, which will come into force on the 1st of January 2021.
