In order to meet the expectations and needs of our clients, we have launched an interdisciplinary ESG and sustainable development practice. It combines many years of experience in the financial market with competences in other areas – in particular energy and environmental protection.
ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Sustainability are factors that are getting more recognized and taken into account when assessing a company and its brand. Our goal is to provide comprehensive advice that allows our clients to adapt to continuously changing business conditions and new regulations, including EU regulations (e.g. SFDR / Taxonomy).
In our work, we try to take into account the need of balancing client’s interests related to the ongoing way of conducting business with business requirements, including but not limited to the possibility of obtaining financing, in order to help the client in achieving the sustainable development goals in an economically beneficial manner.
Our ESG and sustainable development advisory includes:

• providing advice on disclosure of information related to sustainable development in the financial services sector, including the implementation of SFDR
• providing advice on corporate governance that includes, among others, preparation of appropriate internal regulations or incorporation of corporate governance in existing documents
• providing advice on the performance of disclosure obligations by issuers, including non-financial ESG disclosures
• providing advice in the area of reporting on compliance with the Taxonomy

• providing legal advice on adapting installations to the emission requirements introduced by the institutions of the European Union, in particular the requirements resulting from the so-called BAT conclusions.
