Aleksandra Smoleńska, senior associate, Attorney-at-law at the Warsaw Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers. A graduate of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the Catholic University of Lublin. She provides legal services to businesses, with a particular focus on corporate and contract law. She specialises in drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts. She has experience in preparing both simple documents, such as loan agreements and NDAs, as well as complex contracts, including licence agreements, IT service agreements and SLAs. She advises clients on minimising contractual risks, safeguarding the company’s interests and conducting effective business negotiations.
She participates in due diligence projects conducted in connection with mergers, supporting legal analysis and risk identification processes. Furthermore, she has experience in employment law, gained through litigation and providing legal advice in particularly complex cases.
She currently also focuses on civil law, in particular on cases concerning so-called Swiss franc loans. She advises the firm’s clients on pursuing claims arising from loan agreements and also conducts court proceedings, which have frequently been successful. She coordinates the work of the firm’s team dealing with Swiss franc loan settlements, supporting clients in ongoing negotiations and mediations.
