Prof. Wierzbowski moderated the panel on the Future of the Investment Funds in Poland

Prof. Wierzbowski participated in the annual Conference of the Chamber of Investment Firms. He moderated the panel discusion titled „After the MIFID II and MIFIR – the impact of the new regulations on the security of the capital market participants and effectivness of the market. The panel discussion focused on the future of investment funds after introduction of the ban of remunerating the distributors of the investment funds products. The panel was composed of : Maciej Kurzajewski – director of the Department of Investment Firms on the KNF, Jacek Marcinowski – the President of the Santander TFI, Krzysztof Prasał – the President of Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion Sp. z o.o., Piotr Tomaszewski – Director of Santander Investment House, and Piotr Żochowski – the President of PKO TFI.

Conference of the Chamber of Investment Firms is an annual meeting of the leaders of Polish capital markets, gathering CEOs of of investment firms, the representatives of Government of the Republic of Poland, Warsaw Stock Exchange, National Depositary of Securities, investment funds, investors and business organisations.
